Case Study project comprises of the refurbishment of a swimming pool area to the client's specification, which initially required a birdcage scaffold over the existing pool to enable safe access to works and existing suspended ceiling. The ceiling works included the careful removal of an existing layer of tiles to expose existing asbestos, the subsequent removal of asbestos under fully controlled conditions and installation of new suspended ceiling tiles to the existing/salvaged ceiling grid.
The project also included full redecorations throughout the pool area, floor tile repairs where necessary, thorough cleaning of the floors, replacement internal doors and lighting upgrade works.
It was also necessary for the upgrade of ventilation services and associated commissioning following thorough Mechanical surveys, reporting of maintenance issues and the development of an acceptable upgrade strategy.
